Havelock Island, is the most popular island among the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Its picture-perfect beaches with white powdery sands, aquamarine shallows, beach huts, Havelock has a well-deserved reputation as the place to be.
The prettiest and most popular beach is Beach 7, with the perfect combination of surf, sand and tropical jungle.
The gorgeous Neils Cove is a gem of sheltered sand and crystalline waters.
On the other side of the island, Beach 5 is another classic tropical beach, but at low tides, the water becomes shallow for miles. Further away is the low-key Kalapathar, another pristine beach.
Havelock is the premier spot for snorkelling and scuba diving in the Andamans, famous worldwide for its crystal-clear waters, deep-sea corals, schools of fish, turtles and kaleidoscope of colourful marine life.
When tired of living the dream on the beaches, Havelock’s spectacular and lush rainforests are great for trekking and birdwatching.
