From the midnight trumpet of a wild elephant to the morning call of majestic peacocks, guests at the Musa Jungle Retreat can take in the sights and sounds of the Manas National Park’s wild beings from the comfort of their cottages. Situated close to the southern border of the park, this jungle resort derives its name from the local Bodo word for tiger – Musa. Musa Retreat sprawls across eight acres of lush forest vegetation in the Bansbari range, offering a panoramic view of the park’s glorious flora and fauna. If guests are lucky enough, they may cross paths with a ruminating deer or two during their early morning walks. Or better yet, spot a rhino grazing on the other side of the road!
