The name “Prava” derived from the Sanskrit word “pravala” defined as coral, serves as a metaphor for the property’s identity and ethos; a holistic experience that blends sophistication with a deep respect for nature. At Uga Prava guests are called to slow their pace, to pause amidst the palm trees and ocean breeze, and reconnect with their innermost selves, as the south coast provides the perfect backdrop for reflection and renewal.

Nestled on the coastline of Tangalle and surrounded by 2.5 acres of lush gardens that gently descend to a private beach, this peaceful retreat offers a secluded haven of relaxation. The property is 5km from Tangalle, the nearest town.

SUITES
Our seven ocean-facing suites are designed to offer the ultimate in relaxation and style. The design reflects the delicate beauty of coral reefs, employing a modern and minimalist aesthetic characterized by clean lines, neutral colours, and natural materials. The Coral and Horizon Suites feature expansive windows and balconies that frame stunning ocean views that seamlessly blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, while the Hermit Suites feature elevated views of the ocean from the balcony.

HERMIT SUITES (823 – 716 sqft)
Inspired by the hermit crabs that have made Prava their home, our two Hermit Suites, feature ocean views and perfect seclusion. Enjoy the spacious bathroom equipped with his and her vanities. The walk-in shower opens onto your private balcony that also features a Jacuzzi. Experience tranquillity and elegance in this well-appointed suite, where every detail is designed for relaxation.

HORIZON SUITES (737 sqft) 
The Horizon Suites, named a­re the spectacular view, are spaced out on three levels, each with its own magnificent end-to-end view of the Indian Ocean. The three spacious Suites offer a Super King bed, private balcony, bathroom with bathtub, and his and her vanities. Guests can spend the day looking out onto azure waters, with plush furnishings and exquisite décor ensuring a restful retreat.

CORAL SUITES (741 – 636 sqft)
Named a­re the definition of Prava, the Coral Suites are thoughtfully and intentionally designed for families, with a king-sized bed and two cosy single beds. Enjoy the convenience of two separate bathrooms, including one with a lavish bathtub for relaxation. With its spacious layout and elegant décor, the Coral Suites ensure comfort and style, making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable family holiday.
