Riva, a distinguished villa in close proximity to Negombo, is a meticulously restored 180-year-old traditional manor house nestled within a lush five-acre coconut estate. This seven bedroom heritage house boasts and embraces the classic architectural design with a central courtyard encircling a serene pond.

The cosy interiors of the manor house showcase antique surfaces adorned with intricate paintings by Sri Lankan artists, enhancing the property’s rustic allure.

Originally the residence of six generations of a prominent Colombo Chetty family, this mansion has welcomed numerous distinguished guests over the years, including Mahatma Gandhi, some of Sri Lanka’s Presidents and Prime Ministers, and many other notable figures.
