A ‘wada’ was a residence of a high ranking official of the Chalukyan dynasty. Very few remain standing today, and Wada 1 is a the last of these few that remain in existence and the only one that has been restored and available for guests to experience.

This beautifully and tastefully restored old house is located in a great spot to explore the village with its ancient temples and the hilltop sunset viewpoint.
