Celebrate Holi with the locals

Holi is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated in India and Nepal as the festival of colours, love, and the arrival of Spring. It is celebrated in most years in the month of March.

Holi is a cultural celebration that is enjoyed by people of all religions alike as a communal opportunity to have fun by throwing coloured water and powder at each other.  Holi is of particular significance in the Braj region, which includes locations traditionally associated with Radha and Krishna: Mathura, Vrindavan and Barsana attract lots of tourists during the Holi season.

If you are lucky enough to be in India during Holi, we can arrange for you to stay in unique properties where you can enjoy the celebrations in an authentic yet not too boisterous manner with your warm and friendly hosts.
