Explore the Seven Sisters

Pristine natural beauty and unique cultures welcome those who dare to step off the beaten path.

The “Seven Sisters” of India refer to the seven north-eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. These seven states are known for their unique cultures, diverse ethnic groups, cuisines and stunning landscapes.

  • Arunachal Pradesh: Known as the “Land of the Rising Sun,” it offers scenic beauty, monasteries, and the Tawang Valley.
  • Assam: Renowned for its tea gardens, the Brahmaputra River, and the Kaziranga National Park among other wildlife reserves which are home to the endangered Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
  • Meghalaya: Meaning “Abode of Clouds,” it is known for its living root bridges, waterfalls, and the wettest place on Earth, Mawsynram.
  • Manipur: Often called the “Jewel of India,” it is known for its classical dance form, Manipuri, and the Loktak Lake with its floating phumdis.
  • Mizoram: Known for its rolling hills, bamboo forests, and vibrant festivals.
  • Nagaland: Famous for its diverse tribes, the Hornbill Festival, and picturesque landscapes.
  • Tripura: A land of palaces, temples, and the Neermahal, a beautiful water palace.

If you think you’ve seen everything that India has to offer, a trip to the Seven Sisters will surprise and amaze you. This remote land is India, but it’s India as you’ve never seen it before.
