Birding is his passion, and the ability to spot and identify birds, his expert knowledge about ‘hot spots’, and habitats, and the amazing rapport he has built with local people and guides are his greatest assets.
Not only has he personally explored and located many new ‘hot spots’, his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge and experience has led him to train several local guides in the Kalimpong-Darjeeling, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Bhutan.
Peter is recognised across the world as one of the best birding experts in the sub-continent, and has worked with some of the world’s well-known birders on their trips to the region.
Peter won the Silver award for best tour leader in the The Wanderlust Travel Awards 2021.
