Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, you’ll be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel nearby.

Enjoy a half-day late afternoon guided tour of Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, two of Delhi’s most iconic monuments, both World Heritage sites.

Both historic sites are surrounded by large green spaces and old native Indian trees hosting a variety of birds that young birdwatches will enjoy identifying.

Day 2: Bhopal – Satpura National Park

Early morning, catch your flight to Bhopal (dep 0650 / arr 0820). From Bhopal airport, you’ll be received by your driver who will transfer you to Satpura National Park (4 hours).

Check into your hotel and refresh yourself.

Later in the day, enjoy your first foray into the wilds of Satpura with an exclusive afternoon jeep safari looking for the rich variety of wildlife found in these jungles.

Enjoy dinner in peaceful and natural surrounds of your lodge.

Day 3: Satpura National Park

Explore Satpura National Park and hopefully observe a wonderful array of wildlife. Satpura is unique amongst Indian wildlife reserves because apart from jeep safaris, there are a number of wildlife activities, including nature walks and canoeing on the lake.

To experience the quiet, serene beauty of this wildlife haven go for a walking safari with an expert naturalist this morning.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll have a jeep safari where we make special efforts to spot the various species of small cats that call Satpura home.

Day 4: Satpura National Park

Wake up this morning to another day full of wildlife exploration at Satpura.

A jeep safari in the morning to go looking for tigers is followed by an afternoon boat safari in the calm waters of the lake.

Later enjoy an evening jeep safari to round things off.

Relax and recount the day’s sightings and experiences at dinner.

Day 5: Satpura National Park – Pench National Park

This morning, take your second walking safari in the park. Be amazed at the rich birdlife on a gentle paced exploration that allows you to spot the diversity of creatures that you’d easily miss when on a jeep safari.

After breakfast, drive to Pench National Park with packed lunch from your Satpura Lodge (4-5 hours).

Arrive in Pench and check in at your lodge.

Day 6: Pench National Park

Today, you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Pench.

The jungles of Pench National Park gave birth to the stories of the Jungle Book, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to sight the charismatic tiger as well as a host of other wildlife including Gaur, Dhole and Sambhar.

Day 7: Pench National Park – Nagpur – Delhi

Enjoy your final morning jeep safari in Pench National Park.

Hopefully, spending the last few days in the jungle and getting to observe wildlife through a variety of means would’ve not only provided loads of thrills and photographs, but also created many happy family memories.

After lunch transfer to Nagpur airport and fly to Delhi where you’ll be met upon arrival at the domestic terminal and transferred to the International airport for your flight back home.

If your flight leaves the next day, we can easily add an overnight stay near the airport to the itinerary, and some pre-check-in sightseeing in Delhi on the departure day as per your flight timings and preferences.
