Waterwoods Lodge

Waterwoods Lodge

Nagarhole National Park
, Karnataka
, India

One of the oldest privately-owned resorts in the area, Waterwoods is located on a picturesque river front on the northern shores of the Kabini backwaters. Views from its rooms are of the deep blue of the swimming pool, and beyond its gardens are Kabini’s backwaters and the backdrop of the Brahmagiri mountain range. Built in a contemporary style, its accommodation is light and airy thanks to large windows that ensure endless views. It has its own organic greenhouse that supplies most of the fresh produce to the restaurant kitchen with Tandoori dishes a particular favourite, taken mostly by the water’s edge.
