Home to Snow Leopards and several Himalayan wildlife species

Ulley

In the high, arid mountains of Ladakh, on the borders of Tibet, lies Ulley. Situated at the centre of three interlocking valleys, it is probably the best place to see Snow Leopards in the world.

Within these valleys live the elusive Snow Leopard, Red Fox, Wolf and the prey species of Ibex, Bharal and Urial.

Home to Snow Leopards and several Himalayan wildlife species

Ulley stands at almost 4,000 metres above sea level. It has recently become prominent on the international wildlife circuit for the healthy population of Snow Leopards in the area.

Golden Eagle, Lammergeier, and Bearded and Himalayan Griffon soar majestically in the skies above, while partridge and Red-billed Chough can be spotted on the ground.
