Birethanti Lodge

, Nepal

As you approach the river, you can see the bright colours of the prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, creating a contrast with the blue sky and the green hills. The suspension bridge sways gently as you walk over it, feeling the fresh air and hearing the soothing sound of the water. On the other side, a short and easy hike takes you to the Birethanti Lodge, a lovely retreat nestled among a lush garden and wide lawns.

The lodge has ten rooms, each with its own bathroom and amenities, such as warm beds with soft blankets and down jackets that you can wear if it gets chilly.

The dining area also serves delicious food, made with fresh ingredients from the garden and nearby farms. You can taste traditional dishes, such as dal bhat or momos, or opt for more familiar options, such as pasta or pizza.

The garden is a delight for the senses, with fragrant flowers of different shapes and colours, and birds singing in the trees. You can sit on a bench and admire the view, or stroll around and discover hidden corners. In the evening, you can join other guests in the main dining area, where a cozy fireplace awaits you. You can sip a hot drink or a local beer, and chat with friendly staff and fellow travellers. The Birethanti Lodge is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal.
