Gir Birding Lodge

Gir Birding Lodge

Gir National Park
, Gujarat
, India

The Gir Birding Lodge is a living example of transformation in action. What was once barren land is now alive with Kesar Mango orchards and other generously canopied trees. These naturally attract a large variety of birds to the property itself, which means your bird watching begins even before you venture out.

The Gir BIrding Lodge is spread over 22 acres and is the perfect base to explore Gir. It lies adjacent to the boundary of the Gir National Park, allowing guests the feeling of staying really close to the wilderness and the majestic Lions.

Whether you want to take nature walks in the Maldhari areas, go on a safari in the Gir Forests, or simply want to find the perfect hides to catch and photograph birds, the team of in-house naturalists are well-versed with taking you for birding walks, hide photography and herpetology excursions.
