The Wallawwa is a delightful boutique property with five acres of 200-year-old tropical gardens.
The 18 rooms and suites have been painstakingly restored, within a chic and stylishly decorated building that once served as the RAF’s headquarters. There are two family suites available, as well as the two-bedroom Mountbatten Suite with its own private plunge pool.
The Verandah Restaurant serves a variety of cuisines, with many ingredients sourced from the hotel’s kitchen garden. There is a private pool, and the spa offers a variety of ayurvedic treatments using local organic and herbal ingredients.
