Secrets of India

Let Central India beguile you with its magical heritage and wildlife. If you’ve never been to India before, this great trip includes what most first-time visitors put on top of their India wish list – marvelling at the beauty of the Taj and spotting Tigers.

But there’s so much more than Taj and Tigers on this tour. From your base at one of our personal favourite places to stay in India, Chambal Safari Lodge, you’ll explore the heritage and rugged natural beauty of the Chambal region. Marvel at Agra’s Mughal architecture beyond the Taj and the famed temples of Khajuraho with their splendiferous amorous couplings. Fall in love with the riverside magnificence of Orchha and the symmetrical beauty of one of India’s best step wells.

Visit a special refuge for rescued elephants, and spot a tiger amongst the impossibly romantic ruins of Ranthambhore. Ranthambhore and Bandhavgarh are two of India’s most popular National Parks. Our itinerary also includes Panna, a less visited National Park offering a great wildlife experience with fewer tourists to share it with. The safaris on your trip are likely to leave lasting memories.
