Kafila Desert Camp is an exclusive boutique desert camp, located in the golden sand dunes near the desert citadel city of Jaisalmer.
The Kafila’s front wall, bastions, restaurant, central courtyard and reception are constructed in the traditional ‘Dry stack’ way that involve stacking local stones without using any cement.
Echoes of the Rajput architecture can be found throughout the camp, from its intricately carved stone panels to the arches. The tented accommodation is inspired by the safari encampments of the 19th century, a combination of Rajput and British Raj campaign style.
